False Shamrock

(Oxalis Triangularis).

This gorgeous purple leaf plant is photophilic. It's leaves close up at night and open up in the morning. If the plant droops and the leaves stop opening don't panic- it is entering its dormancy phase. Move to a darker spot for about a month and don't water, remove dead foliage- when you notice new shoots forming you can move back to a brightspot and follow normal care instructions.

Likes: A brightspot with indirect light. Repot every other year.

Dislikes: Prefersto be under-rather than overwatered. Don't water until top inch of soil feels dry to the touch.
