String of Tears (senecio herreanus)

String Of Tears (senecio herreanus)

This interesting succulent plant has lovely its trailing stems and attractive, tear-shaped foliage. It can  produce cinnamon-scented, trumpet-shaped white flowers during the spring and summer. If it literally starts crying (.ie dropping it's tears!) it isnt getting enough sunlight.

Likes: A bright spot & indirect light. Use cactus or succulent compost when potting on approx once a year.

Dislikes: Being watered too often ( water only when the several centimetres of soil are dry, water less often in winter). Don't let it get cold.
